Young Haitian Students Celebrating Labor Day

May 1st is Labor Day in Haiti, a national holiday to commemorate Agriculture and Labor. The land has deep value for Haitians, as so many grow their own food due to ever-changing prices at markets and grocery stores. This is a very famous holiday in Haiti, and our young students were celebrating our production from the farm and trees.

Enjoy these photos from our 2023 celebration, featuring Hope for Haiti Foundation students at Unifée, a primary and secondary school in Zorangé.
