Solar Project

Below, you will read from a great supporter of HFHF—how he got involved, and the project he wants you to help make happen!

Friends and Fellow Supporters,

Over the past several years, I’ve become involved with Hope for Haiti Foundation and participated in several of their fundraising events. Last December, I was gratefully able to make a trip to Zorangé, Haiti (video of my first trip). I’ve already been back one time since then and plan on going back my third time in January 2017 to work on a project I hope you can help with.

The project we’ll be working on in January will be in Bainet, Haiti to install a solar powered system on HFHF’s community house in the town. The install will make the dormitory house a welcoming place for students, missionaries, charity workers, and anyone else in need. Supporting this project will directly help to provide around-the-clock, consistent, uninterruptible power to the building, with lights and fans in every room.

Our project goal is $20,000, and we have raised $5,000 so far. Will you consider how you can help us with the remaining $15,000?

Your tax-deductible donations can be made here. Simply put “Solar Project” in the memo field. You will receive a statement of your giving shortly after the new year for tax purposes. As a bonus, you’ll know exactly where your money is going and what it is accomplishing through the finished product in 2017!

Thank you so much for your continued generosity and support. Happy New Year!
