From the first time that Perry Prichard went to Haiti several years ago, he knew he wanted to use his skills as a world-record holding motocross professional to help. What emerged was 24 Hours for Haiti, a motor cross event to raise money for Haiti. The first event, in 2010, raised over $20,000 to build a school and clinic. But Perry wanted to do more. Seeing the need for motorcycles to traverse the rough terrain in Haiti, Perry wanted to offer his skills in a direct capacity. As he began searching for an opportunity, he was led to Hope for Haiti Foundation.
Hope for Haiti Foundation is in need of motorcycles for our nurses, community health workers, and teachers. Perry rose to the challenge, launching a 24 Hours for Haiti event to raise $10,000 for Hope for Haiti Foundation to purchase motorcycles and motorcycle ambulances.
