Introducing Our Summer Interns

Hope for Haiti Foundation is excited to introduce our summer interns! We are excited for the contributions they will make toward our mission!

Molly Fields
School: North Carolina State University
Major: International Studies, minor in Nonprofit Studies.
When I graduate next year, I would love to work for an international nonprofit. I have always felt a burden for those who need help, particularly those internationally, and an international nonprofit is exactly what could help me help others. I hope to one day live abroad working for an international nonprofit. When I heard about Hope for Haiti Foundation, I fell in love with the mission and vision. I love what HFHF is doing, and am glad that now I can now be a part of it.

Ashley Matkins
School: UNC-Greensboro (graduating in December, woo!)
Major: Public Health
Over the course of my undergrad career, I have become more and more interested in the prevention of disease, and how to develop interventions that will better equip a community to succeed. It is my hope that I will be able to work alongside communities to educate and empower them to make changes that significantly impact their health and well-being. With everything that I have learned in school, I believe that there is so much more to learn beyond the four walls of a classroom, and HFHF has helped me see this. This will be my second summer interning with HFHF, and their passion never ceases to amaze me. I am proud to work with such dedicated people both domestically and internationally, and I can’t wait to see what this second round has in store!
